About BigWednesdayShow

BigWednesdayShow is an event that brings together the photographic community. Photographers, photo-industry professionals and aficionados can gather for a night of sharing and inspiration--ideally on the first Wednesday of each month, or as great speakers are available.

PROGRAM: Potluck beforehand. Presentations: two speakers--an up-and-comer and one main featured speaker who is an established veteran. Speakers and subjects vary from reportage and hard-core war photography to features with global appeal and long-term documentary projects of social concern.

FUNDING: Volunteers run BigWednesdayShow. The long-term goal is to create a nonprofit that will offer an annual grant to an up-and-comer, as well as bring in great speakers from around the world. Donations are accepted.

DONATIONS: Send checks to: BigWednesdayShow, 410 North El Camino Real, San Clemente, CA 92672, USA. Funds will help bring speakers to California and cover any costs.

WHEN & WHERE: BigWednesdayShow is held at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month, or as great speakers are available. Venue locations change from time to time based on availability. For details, visit theKONAGallery.com for more info on the next gathering.
